Online and in person. Daily devotions and Wednesday chapel from your kitchen, live Great Hearts Online classes with classmates nationwide, and a 10-acre brick-and-mortar campus in Milwaukee with six Archangels sports, a 330-seat performing arts center, and graduation ceremonies — open to any Virtual family willing to drive in.
A virtual school has to be more intentional about belonging than a brick-and-mortar one. We do not pretend the screen is enough. So we built three layers of community into the week — one that travels with your Scholar from the kitchen table.
These are the cadences built into the VCA Virtual school week itself — available to every Scholar in every pathway, from your kitchen table.
Every school day opens at 7:35 am with about twenty minutes of Scripture, prayer, and reflection — a steady on-ramp before academic work begins.
The whole school gathers live, online, mid-week — worship leadership, Scripture, and a message for K–12 together. Visiting families are welcome to attend before applying.
The school week closes the way it opens. Friday prayer time, intercession requests from families, and a pastoral blessing sent into the weekend.
Every family is paired with a Faith Coach who knows your Scholar by name — regular check-ins, prayer, and the connective tissue between you and the rest of the community.
A named role on the leadership team responsible for chapel, devotions, and the formation life of the Virtual school. Not a side function — an office.
On the Great Hearts Online classical pathway, your Scholar takes live online classes alongside students from across the country. The class itself — a small cohort, a real teacher who knows your Scholar's name, daily Socratic conversation — is the bulk of community life on this pathway.
Class sizes are small enough that the teacher knows every Scholar by name. Cameras on, voices in the room, daily presence — not a YouTube playlist.
The class day is built around discussion of great books, primary sources, and ideas. Your Scholar's classmates become intellectual peers, not strangers in a chatroom.
GHO students enroll from across the country. Your Scholar's regular classmates may live in Arizona, Texas, North Carolina, or Wisconsin — the conversation is wider than any single state.
Victory Christian Academy is a real brick-and-mortar K–12 school on a 10-acre Milwaukee campus — gym, track, soccer field, and a 330-seat Performing Arts Center opened in August 2024. If your family can travel, you are welcome. No second application. No separate fee.

The single most important community moment of the week is Wednesday chapel. Every VCA Virtual Scholar is gathered — live, online, with worship leadership and a message for the whole school.
Families considering VCA Virtual are welcome to attend a Wednesday chapel before applying. It is the truest way to see the community we are building. The chapel feels like a real worship service because it is one.
Daily devotions at 7:35 am, Wednesday full chapel, Friday prayer and character enrichment — the rhythms that make this a school, not a platform.
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”Psalm 133:1 · KJV
The fastest way to feel whether VCA Virtual has the community you're looking for is to attend a Wednesday chapel online or stop by the Milwaukee campus for a school event. Schedule one through admissions.
