Most VCA Virtual families pay $0 in tuition — the four Wisconsin Choice Programs cover it in full. Small incidental fees may apply across a school year (like at any public school), but they will never determine your enrollment. For direct-pay families, our rate equals the state voucher amount, dollar for dollar.
For Choice-eligible families, tuition is $0, guaranteed — the voucher covers it in full. Beyond tuition, VCA Virtual’s own policy is to help families who need it — laptop, basic supplies, and home internet support on a case-by-case basis. Small incidental fees may come up across a school year (like at any public school), but they will never determine your enrollment. For direct-pay families, tuition equals the state voucher amount, no more.
The most common question we get is “What does it actually cost my family?” For about nine in ten of our families, the answer is $0 — because they qualify for one of the four Wisconsin Choice Programs. The rest pay the same flat rate the state pays per voucher.
Same school, same education, same coaches. Two different ways the bill gets settled.
If you qualify for MPCP, WPCP, RPCP, or SNSP, the state pays VCA Virtual directly. You pay nothing for tuition.

If a family hits a financial wall mid-year, the conversation is with the Principal — not a billing department. We have a tradition of working with families through hardship. If you’ve enrolled in good faith and circumstances change, the school holds the line for the student.
For Choice families, this never comes up — the state pays VCA directly, and your family is shielded by Wisconsin Choice law. For direct-pay families, we’ll structure a path that works.
The mission is the student. Money is downstream of that.
