Our Mission

Victory Christian Academy Virtual (VCA Virtual) exists to provide a Christ-centered K–12 education that forms intellect, cultivates virtue, and equips students to serve God, family, and community with wisdom and grace.

Christ-Centered

Christ is not a course on the schedule — He is the school’s living foundation. Chapel, daily devotions, and a Faith Coach for every family knit Christian formation through the whole student experience, no matter which academic pathway a family chooses.

Classically Rooted

The oldest education is still the best. Through Great Hearts Online Classical, our students read the Great Books, sit in Socratic seminars, and study the liberal arts that shaped Christendom — not textbooks about them, but the works themselves.

Family-Partnered

Parents remain the primary educators of their children. We do not replace them; we equip them. Every grade, every coach call, every Faith Coach text is built to serve the sacred task God gave parents first: raising the next generation in truth, wisdom, and virtue.

VCA Virtual is governed by a mission-driven Board committed to preserving the school’s spiritual and academic integrity.

A 25-Year Arc

From a Milwaukee schoolhouse to every Wisconsin home.

VCA Virtual is not a startup. It is the next chapter in a 25-year story of Christian education that started on the south side of Milwaukee.

1999

Founded in Milwaukee

Victory Christian Academy opens its doors at 2840 S 10th Street as a Christian K–12 day school serving Milwaukee families.

2010s

Choice Program school

VCA grows into a full participant in Wisconsin’s Parental Choice Programs, opening Christ-centered education to families who could not otherwise afford it.

2024–25

Virtual launches

VCA Virtual launches under the same board, same statement of faith, same mission — with classical, non-classical, individualized, and self-paced pathways.

2026–27

Statewide reach

Wisconsin’s only school offering Great Hearts Online Classical and the only Christian online school in all four state Choice Programs — in every Wisconsin home that wants it.

How It Works

Teacher-led. Home-based. Best of both worlds.

VCA Virtual is not a homeschool curriculum supplement. We are a fully-accredited online K–12 academy with licensed teachers, live Socratic classrooms, named coaches for every family, and a complete administration — delivered into the safety, intimacy, and rhythm of your home.

VCA Virtual partners with Great Hearts Online Classical for accredited classical instruction, with Wisconsin Virtual School for state-aligned coursework taught by Wisconsin-certified teachers, and offers in-house VCA-taught courses for a more personal, faith-rooted experience. Every pathway is teacher-delivered.

The homeschool environment your family wants. The teachers, classrooms, credentialing, and academic muscle only a real school can provide. Best of both worlds.

Parents shape the daily rhythm at home — meals, breaks, the room your child works in, the encouragement before each class. Our teachers teach the lessons. Our Dean of Instruction owns academic strategy. Our Faith Coach owns spiritual mentorship. Our Academic Coach watches the data. The family lives the day; the school runs the school.

VCA Virtual is more than a school — it is a kingdom covenant community of faith, reason, and formation.
